The shape of the Krembo is like a cylinder with a dome at the top, coated on the outside with a very thin Compound chocolate wrapper (about a millimeter) with a chocolate flavor, and inside it a sweetened egg foam. At the base of the krembo is a cookie.
Krembo is a popular candy from Europe that has become popular in Israel. Its Hebrew name is the bread of the words "cream" and "bo" (within it). The first krembo was probably created in Denmark in the 19th century, but there are other European nations that claim to have invented it.
