Osem started out as a company for the production and marketing of noodles (this is what they called pasta back then) as early as the 1940s. Over the years, Osem also started importing quality durum wheat pasta from Italy. Durum wheat is harder, giving the cooked pasta the “al dente” texture that is common in Italian cooking. Pasta Perfecto is made with select durum wheat, has “al dente” texture and is easy to prepare. Pasta Perfecto offers a variety of shapes – long (spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine…), short (spirali, penne rigate, farfalle…) and special (lasagna and gnocchi).
