Where to Buy Authentic Israeli Food in the USA | KosherTop
Looking for authentic Israeli food in the USA? The complete guide to buying Israeli kosher products online — Bamba, tahini, Elite chocolate, Dead Sea beauty, Materna formula and more, shipped directly from Israel. Shop now at KosherTop.
If you have ever stood in a kosher grocery store in New York or Los Angeles, scanning the shelves for a specific Israeli product — the tahini brand your grandmother used, the chocolate spread you grew up with, the baby formula you started your child on in Israel — you know the feeling.
It might be there. In a limited selection, in a single format, at a price that reflects three layers of import markup, with an expiration date that tells you it has been sitting in a warehouse for the better part of a year.
Or it might not be there at all.
The Israeli food market in the United States is fragmented, limited, and heavily filtered through the preferences of American distributors who decide what to import. The full range of Israeli food culture — the 3,000+ products in any Israeli supermarket — reaches American shores in a fraction of its variety.
Until now.
KosherTop ships authentic Israeli food, beauty products, baby nutrition, and supplements directly from Israel to addresses across the United States. Not from a warehouse in New Jersey. From Israel. Here is everything you need to know.
The Problem with Israeli Food in American Stores
The Selection Problem
American kosher stores carry Israeli products — but only the ones American importers decided will sell. The bestsellers, the classics, the most recognized brands in their most standard formats.
What gets excluded: seasonal products, regional favorites, newer brands, specialty formats, and the enormous variety of everyday Israeli products that never make the cut. When was the last time you saw all eight flavors of Mana Chama in one place? Or Arganicare hair care? Or the full Ta'am Vareach spice range? You haven't — because American importers don't carry them.
The Freshness Problem
The journey from Israeli manufacturer to American store shelf takes months:
Manufacturing → Port loading → Sea freight (2-3 weeks) → US customs → Importer warehouse → Regional distributor → Retail shelf
By the time you buy an Israeli product from an American kosher store, it may be 4-8 months old. For spices, protein powders, tahini, chocolate, and oils — freshness directly affects flavor and potency. This difference is immediately noticeable.
The Price Problem
Every hand the product passes through adds margin. Importer margin + distributor margin + retailer margin — on top of the original manufacturing and shipping cost. Ordering directly from Israel eliminates two of these three layers, often making KosherTop prices competitive with American retail for the same products.

Who Buys Israeli Food from KosherTop
Israeli expats — the largest group. Israelis living in the USA who want the products they grew up with. Not approximations — Hashahar, not American chocolate spread. Materna, not Similac. The real thing.
American Jewish families — who keep kosher and want authentic Israeli products for their Shabbat tables and holiday celebrations.
Non-Jews who love Israeli food — a growing and often surprising segment. Americans who discovered hummus, shawarma, or Israeli salads at restaurants and want authentic ingredients at home.
Health-conscious consumers — who discovered Israeli superfoods (tahini, dates, olive oil, halva) through the global health food trend.
Gift-givers — who understand that a gift shipped from Israel carries more meaning than one assembled locally.
